After strolling through the forest, meet the 12-foot-high ladder leading to the lower entrance. Once inside, the ground slopes downward and goes back in time as you see remains of the ceremonial chamber used by the Mayans rituals. It is a dry cave. The ceiling of the cave has gaping holes where the forest canopy is visible as well. A 20-minute hike takes you to the end of the cave where there is another entrance.
